Attar W03 — a tire for use on light commercial vehicles in extreme winter conditions. It combines a high-load capacity construction with winter traction technologies, providing predictable handling and safety on snow, ice, and slush.
The foundation is a reinforced carcass with additional layers of cord and an optimized profile, designed for increased load indices. This construction minimizes deformation under weight, ensuring stability of the contact patch, even wear, and durability even with constant full loading. The "passenger car" handling technology is implemented through precise calibration of the sidewall stiffness, improving the response to steering commands without losing carrying capacity.
The tread pattern features a directional asymmetric architecture. Wide, deep, and intersecting drainage grooves perform a dual function: they effectively drain snowmash and water, counteracting hydroplaning, and also form aggressive tread lugs for outstanding traction properties on loose snow.
Numerous blocks with serrated edges and a large number of three-dimensional lugs (zigzag and wavy) create hundreds of cutting edges. Their action on the ice crust is complemented by studs, increasing the level of safety.
A special winter rubber compound with a high silica content remains elastic at temperatures below -20°C. This flexibility allows the tread micro-elements and lugs to "envelop" the irregularities of the ice and dense snow, providing excellent traction. The compound is also resistant to delamination and cracking during freeze-thaw cycles.
