As a result, the car significantly increased in size, especially due to the rear overhang, which made it possible to eliminate one of the main drawbacks of the predecessor, namely the modest volume of the luggage compartment. In combination with the use of thinner backrests of all seats, its length increased by 120 mm.Despite the new platform, the power unit remained the same - a 1.2-liter gasoline "atmospheric" engine producing 91 hp and 118 Nm, which again worked in "pair" with a variator. In more expensive versions, this tandem is supplemented with a hybrid "superstructure" - a starter-generator with an output of 3.1 hp and 50 Nm and a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 3 Ah. These components increase the efficiency of the "start-stop" system, which automatically activates when the speed drops to 13 km/h, shutting off the main power unit. The chassis layout varies significantly depending on the type of drive. In the base versions with front-wheel drive, a semi-dependent beam is used at the rear, and in the all-wheel-drive versions, a more advanced De Dion variant is used.
The car's interior, like the previous models, has a 5-seat layout, but with a much higher level of trim materials. The rear sofa is divided into sections with a mechanism for shifting and tilting the backrests. The instrument panel, as before, is located in the center of the front console, but the driver now has a color projection display on the windshield. In the most expensive versions, a multimedia system with a 9-inch touch screen, adaptive "cruise", a complex of electronic assistants Suzuki Safety Support, electric drive of one or both sliding doors appears.
