The Suzuki Super Carry has been in the Japanese brand's production lineup since 1985. Despite being part of the commercial Carry line, the vehicle is essentially a standalone model. It was initially intended for export to other countries and was not limited by Japan's strict "kei car" requirements. Generation 3


The third generation, which appeared in 1999, was essentially an evolution of its predecessor, but with greater attention to electronic systems and driving comfort. Externally, it differed in a more modern design, an increased area of glazing, and changed lighting. The cabin became noticeably larger, providing the driver with a more comfortable seat.
The engine range was based on gasoline engines with a volume of 1 and 1.3 liters, with a power of 80 to 85 horsepower and a torque of up to 100 Nm. All power units were combined with a 5-speed manual transmission. Some versions had sound insulation and power steering as standard equipment. The chassis retained the "semi-truck" layout with MacPherson struts at the front and a beam, springs at the rear. At the same time, the shock absorber settings became noticeably "softer" compared to previous generations. Inside, there were more comfortable seats, additional storage compartments, and improved ventilation. For commercial transport in the early 2000s, such equipment was considered quite modern.

Generation 4


In 2013, the Japanese brand introduced another novelty. It retained the concept of its predecessors, but with some reservations, which was due to the demand shifting towards equipment that offered comfort for drivers, in addition to reliability, low operating costs, and functionality. Technically, the significant change was the strengthening of the frame and the appearance of engines after another cycle of modernization. The engine range consists of gasoline engines with a volume of 1.2 and 1.5 liters. The power reaches 73 and 95 horsepower, respectively, and the torque varies from 98 to 135 Nm. Both engines work in pair with a 5-speed manual transmission. Some versions of the model received a modified clutch and an enhanced cooling system designed for operation in a hot climate.
