Шины на Suzuki Super Carry (Сузуки)

The Suzuki Super Carry has been in the Japanese brand's production lineup since 1985. Despite being part of the commercial Carry line, the vehicle is essentially a standalone model. It was initially intended for export to other countries and was not limited by Japan's strict "kei car" requirements. As a result, the model received an enlarged cargo platform, a more spacious cabin, occupying a niche between ultra-compact and compact commercial equipment, taking small dimensions from the first and increased carrying capacity from the second. All this made it popular among small businesses, farms, and urban delivery services.

Generation 1

The debut model was created on the basis of the eighth generation Carry. The main difference from the standard model was the increased length of the cargo platform and a more spacious cabin. The design retained the classic layout with the driver's seat located above the front axle. This solution allowed for the most efficient use of small external dimensions while increasing the useful length of the platform. Early versions used gasoline engines with a volume of 797 and 970 "cubes". Later, 1-liter engines appeared. Depending on the market, the power ranged from 45 to 55 horsepower, and the torque reached 80 Nm. The power units were combined with 4- and 5-speed "mechanics", rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. The increased dimensions and carrying capacity led to changes in the suspension. In particular, a semi-dependent beam and leaf springs were used at the rear.

Generation 2

In the second generation of 1991, the emphasis was again placed on carrying capacity and reliability. The layout was taken from larger trucks, but with the preservation of small dimensions. The model differed from its predecessor in a strengthened frame and springs with increased carrying capacity. In particular, this led to the appearance of extended versions with 2-meter platforms in the line. The engine range was expanded due to diesel engines with a volume of 1.3 and 1.5 liters, with a power of up to 78 horsepower and a torque of over 110 Nm. Such solutions opened up high-speed highways for the Super Carry, where it stood out with much better stability.

Generation 3

The third generation, which appeared in 1999, was essentially an evolution of its predecessor, but with greater attention to electronic systems and driving comfort. Externally, it differed in a more modern design, an increased area of glazing, and changed lighting. The cabin became noticeably larger, providing the driver with a more comfortable seat.
The engine range was based on gasoline engines with a volume of 1 and 1.3 liters, with a power of 80 to 85 horsepower and a torque of up to 100 Nm. All power units were combined with a 5-speed manual transmission. Some versions had sound insulation and power steering as standard equipment. The chassis retained the "semi-truck" layout with MacPherson struts at the front and a beam, springs at the rear. At the same time, the shock absorber settings became noticeably "softer" compared to previous generations. Inside, there were more comfortable seats, additional storage compartments, and improved ventilation. For commercial transport in the early 2000s, such equipment was considered quite modern.

Generation 4

In 2013, the Japanese brand introduced another novelty. It retained the concept of its predecessors, but with some reservations, which was due to the demand shifting towards equipment that offered comfort for drivers, in addition to reliability, low operating costs, and functionality. Technically, the significant change was the strengthening of the frame and the appearance of engines after another cycle of modernization. The engine range consists of gasoline engines with a volume of 1.2 and 1.5 liters. The power reaches 73 and 95 horsepower, respectively, and the torque varies from 98 to 135 Nm. Both engines work in pair with a 5-speed manual transmission. Some versions of the model received a modified clutch and an enhanced cooling system designed for operation in a hot climate. The base equipment of the model already implied the presence of air conditioning, electric windows, and multimedia with a touch screen.

Depending on the generation and version, the Super Carry was equipped with wheels with a diameter of 12 to 14 inches. Such products stood out for their increased strength and resistance to mechanical stress, which should be taken into account when selecting them. In the online store "Mosavtoshina", it is convenient to select, as well as wear-resistant commercial discs and tires designed for intensive work in conditions of poor roads and complex climate.
