Tires on Opel Combo (Опел)

The Opel Combo currently represents a versatile model that, depending on the modification, can be used for commercial transportation and as a universal passenger minivan. It has been produced since 1993.

First Generation

The model's debut took place in the fall of 1993. The car was created based on the compact hatchback Corsa, presented 6 months earlier. The front part, up to the middle pillar, was practically identical, and a cargo compartment was located behind it. It had a nearly cubic shape, which was achieved through the use of a modernized platform and body. Another difference from the standard model was the presence of swinging rear doors. Two years later, the manufacturer introduced a passenger modification. It differed in the presence of a second row of seats, located in the cargo compartment, which received side glazing.

Second Generation

The car of the next generation was shown in the fall of 2001. It sufficiently strongly contrasted with the main competitors, who preferred to break the technical connection with compact passenger cars. Nevertheless, Opel decided to use the Corsa platform again, which significantly limited the dimensions of the commercial vehicle, especially in terms of width. But, unlike its predecessor, the second generation had a more attractive exterior design, since the cargo compartment was integrated, starting not from the middle, but immediately after the front pillar. Another important innovation was the appearance of sliding side doors, and in the standard configuration, it was only located on the passenger side. In addition, the passenger modification Tour was already available at the start of sales.

Third Generation

In the winter of 2012, the manufacturer presented the model of the third generation. The car was a copy of the Fiat Doblo of the second generation. It was created on the platform of the compact hatchback Grande Punto, differing in an independent 2-link suspension and engines developed by the Italian company. The car, as before, is available in two versions - a van with closed panels of door and window openings, and a compact passenger minivan. This model cannot be called popular, however, the use of platforms from the much more popular Corsa and Doblo allows the online store "Mosavtoshina" to offer a wide range of tires and wheels for it.
