An alternative to it was a new 1.8-liter in-line "four", which was created specifically for this model and can be combined with both a manual transmission and an AMT, where the switching is done using an electric drive. In 2019, modifications with a French engine returned to the lineup, but only in combination with the Jatco variator, which features a 2-stage planetary reducer and a hydraulic transformer that prevent damage to the transmission during peak loads.
