The base versions were equipped with a 1.3-liter diesel "four" of the MultiJet family with turbocharging, producing 93 horsepower. As an alternative, a 1.4-liter petrol engine with a turbocharger, producing 140 horsepower, was offered. Both engines were combined with a 5-speed manual transmission.
