Fiat Talento was present in the production range of the Italian brand first from 1981 to 1993, and then from 2016 to 2020. First Generation

The car, which debuted in 1981, was one of the versions of the Ducato commercial van, created in collaboration with the French PSA concern. It differed from other versions of the fairly extensive line by its wheelbase, the smallest among its other representatives. The engine range was represented by two engines - a 2-liter gasoline engine and a 1.9-liter diesel engine. In both versions, the cargo capacity of the van did not exceed 1 ton.

Second Generation

The return of this model to the Italian brand's commercial equipment lineup took place more than two decades after the production of its predecessor was discontinued. On the assembly line, it replaced the Scudo, which at that time was one of the versions of the Citroen Jumpy. This time, too, the renaming was not without. The van, presented in 2016, turned out to be a copy of the Renault Trafic of the third generation, while not being identical in terms of design. The front of the car was brought into stylistic conformity with other models of the Italian brand. Compared to its predecessor, it also had a number of advantages in terms of equipment. Already in the standard configuration, there was a multimedia system with a touch screen, and the back of the middle passenger seat could be used as an organizer with a table, a paper holder, and compartments for storing small items. The engine range consisted of inline four-cylinder diesel engines with a volume of 1.6 and 2 liters, corresponding to the Euro-6d environmental standard. The base version had 95 "horses" under the hood. The 2-liter engine was available in several versions, depending on which it developed 120, 145 or 170 hp. The range of versions was significantly expanded due to the presence not only of a van with partitions instead of windows, but also of a passenger version and a frame chassis for installing various superstructures.
