The Fiat Grande Punto is the third generation of the "Punto" model, which was produced by the manufacturer from 2005 to 2009. Its distinctive feature was its dimensions, which significantly exceeded those of its analogs in the class.

Optional features included climate control, parking sensors, rain sensors, cruise control, and more. A distinctive feature of all engines, which were represented by a wide range of diesel and gasoline options, is the "start-stop" system, which allowed for fuel savings by shutting off the engine even during short stops.

The "Grande Punto" was available not only as a hatchback, but also as a minivan. In this case, only the front seats were installed, and the cargo compartment volume reached 1000 liters. Such a car was distinguished by its versatility and was often used in small commercial activities.

Name Change

In 2009, along with the restyling, the model name was changed to Punto Evo. Externally, the car remained almost unchanged, but the interior space was transformed. A multifunctional steering wheel, ergonomic seats, and ambient lighting appeared. In addition, two new engines appeared: a naturally aspirated gasoline engine and a turbocharged one.

Later, in 2012, the name was changed again to simply "Punto".
