    Tires on Fiat Uno (Фиат)

Fiat Uno was present in the model line of the Italian brand from 1983 to 2021. Throughout its life cycle, this car belonged to the so-called "superminis", compact hatchbacks designed for use mainly in urban conditions.

    First Generation

The car, which debuted in 1983, was a logical continuation of the concept proposed in the Panda model. It stood out for its high body, where straight lines and angles prevailed, which, however, did not prevent it from being efficient in terms of aerodynamics with a drag coefficient of 0.34. This design provided a significant amount of interior space, capable of accommodating up to 5 people. Along with economy, comfort, and reliability, this ensured that the model received the title of European Car of the Year in 1984. To a large extent, this was due to the OHV series engines borrowed from the predecessor, Fiat 127, with a volume of 0.9 to 1.3 liters, developing from 45 to 75 horsepower. Later, some of them were replaced with more modern power units, including turbocharged versions and those running on diesel fuel.

    Second Generation

The second-generation car was introduced in 2010. Unlike its predecessor, its development was handled by the Brazilian division of the Italian brand, as it was initially intended primarily for the South American market. The body design was again styled in the spirit of the Fiat Panda, but already of the current generation. The car turned out to be larger and more spacious than its predecessor. Another feature was the engine range, which consisted of Fire Evo family engines with a volume of 1 and 1.4 liters, which, depending on the version, ran on gasoline, ethanol, or were dual-fuel.

In 2016, the model underwent a major modernization, which significantly changed the concept of its use, making it more versatile. To a large extent, this was due to the appearance in the lineup of the compact hatchback Mobi, which took the initial position. As a result, the updated car externally stood out with more massive bumpers and a full-fledged radiator grille. In the cabin, a multimedia system with a 6.2-inch display and a rearview camera appeared, and in the list of standard equipment - a stability control system and a hill start assist system. In technical terms, the key innovation was the change in the engine range, which was now composed of Firefly family engines, modular power units with an aluminum cylinder block, but without turbochargers, with two valves per cylinder and a simple distributed fuel injection system. However, the compression ratio was increased to 13.2:1, which provided the engines with an excellent power-to-volume ratio. The base "triple" with a volume of 1 liter developed 72 horsepower, and the "four" with a volume of 1.3 liters - 101 horsepower. Both power units turned out to be significantly more economical, offering much more traction at low revs. Depending on the version, they were combined with a 5-speed manual transmission or its "robotized" version with a single clutch and electronic actuator control. The standard wheels and tires for this car were 14 and 15 inches in diameter. Such wheel products, among other things, are presented in the online store "Mosavtoshina".
