Tires on Chevrolet Blazer (Шевроле)
Chevrolet Blazer – a crossover from an American manufacturer, which belongs to the mid-size class. It has been produced since 1982, has undergone three major modifications with intermediate restylings.Beginning
The first generation was the company's response to the 1981 fuel crisis. Therefore, the car received small sizes, as well as modest engines by American standards. The latter were represented by gasoline options with a capacity of 1.9, 2.0, and 2.8 liters - from GM. Also, one "diesel" with a capacity of 2.2 liters was installed, presented by the company Isuzu. In 1988, the company again began to return to more voluminous engines, so a 4.3-liter unit appeared in the lineup. Its power reached 160 horsepower. At the initial stage, the SUV was equipped with a Borg-Warner T-5 mechanics, and later other modifications were used: Hydramatic 290, Getrag 290. The car was equipped with a front spring suspension, which increased the driving comfort. As for the organization of the salon space, it was more like a "passenger car" style.Starting from 1994, a new generation became available, which contained the same platform as the first generation. The main proportions, including the three- and five-door body, were preserved. Saving the frame structure, the car became more technological. In addition, higher-quality materials, including natural leather, began to be used in its salon. A 2.2-liter engine with 106 horsepower and a 4.3-liter engine with 193 horsepower were installed under the hood. Note that in 1996, the assembly of the model was organized in the Russian Federation, in Yelabuga. This was a cycle based on large-unit production. Almost assembled cars from the Brazilian plant were supplied to the country, and our specialists installed various components. But the SUV did not gain wide distribution due to its high cost at that time. Therefore, its production was completed in 1999.
In 2002, the model was updated, and a luxurious SUV with a frame structure and rich equipment, Trailblazer, appeared on the scene.
Modern era
The manufacturer was able to revive the model in 2018. The modern "Blazer" is a crossover with a bearing body, the basis for which was the GM C1 platform. It implies a fully independent suspension, as well as extensive technical equipment and a developed safety system. It has a front-wheel drive in the base, but can be equipped with a four-wheel drive system. The car received a modern exterior, which is somewhat reminiscent of the "Camaro" model. The "Blazer" is equipped with several power units, including a V6, which, with four-wheel drive, allows towing up to 2 tons.Advantages of selecting tires for Chevrolet Blazer on our website:
