The Chevrolet Joy Plus was in the production lineup of the North American brand from 2019 to 2024. The car was a compact sedan intended for the markets of several South American countries, being one of the variants of the Onix Plus model of the first generation of 2016.

Another innovation was the appearance of an electric power steering, which, along with other suspension settings and stabilizers of transverse stability, reducing the clearance by 10 mm, made it possible to significantly reduce fuel consumption.

There were fewer differences from the Aveo in the salon, where the "motorcycle" instrument panel with an analog tachometer scale and a "digital" speedometer was preserved. In the central part of the front console, there was a 7-inch touch screen with a MyLink multimedia system with a function of wireless connection of smartphones and their use as a remote control, in parallel with the buttons on the steering wheel.

Most of the released copies were equipped with a 1.4-liter "atmospheric" gasoline engine with a power of 105 hp. It was taken from the previous model, having undergone a modernization cycle, within which it acquired lightweight pistons and connecting rods, an optimized cooling system, and changed settings of the control unit.
