The second-generation car debuted in China in the summer of 2022. At that time, there was a Trailblazer in the Chevrolet lineup, which clearly did not need internal competition. All these factors, along with the need for unification, led to the use of a different platform - VSS-F. For the Chinese market, versions with an in-line turbocharged gasoline "four" with a volume of 1.5 liters with turbocharging are offered, and for other countries - a more technologically advanced 3-cylinder engine with a volume of 1.2 liters. In addition, "Chinese" modifications are equipped exclusively with a variator, and versions for the rest of the world - a 6-range hydromechanical "automatic".
