I bought this tire last year on my Corolla 30. I always drive on snow tires. Before that it was Michelin, then Hocken and 5th and 4th. Although I live in the South, I'm afraid of our changeable weather. Although snow usually stays till lunchtime. And if there's a trip planned in the snow, it can be postponed. Last year my eighth ran like an electric train or a Boeing taking off. I coasted,

Good tires: drive confidently on slush and ice, braking distance on asphalt is not too large. From the minuses - very noisy, need to get used.

Amazing tires!!! I've been using them in Norilsk, 9 months of winter, initially had doubts, since they're Russian-made and not Finnish... fears not justified, 4 winters on, not a single stud has fallen off, I'm in shock, mostly driving on icy asphalt, calm driving style, as the rear-wheel drive. I don't overtake like some, even on 4WD when I only get stuck in the snow. I put them on in late September and

A great urban tire for snowy winter conditions. Much quieter than the 5 Series and 7 Series, it’s all very good in town.
Out in the sticks, it’s all rather the opposite. It’s easy to get stuck in the snow, it doesn’t dig in at all. It’s equally easy not to be able to get up a bit of a slope on a gravel road – the studs are short and there’s no grip compared to the 7 Series. The track

I purchased the tire in February and didn't have a chance to really test it out as I only had a brief spring season. Although the price was high, it was justifiable. I'm waiting until next season to fully assess the pros and cons of my purchase.

Noisy, really whines after 80 km/h
Does not hold well on ice and wet snow - side slippage

Hello!
First experience on Hakkapelitta 8 SUV, studded. Hakkapelitta 9 didn't get, were significantly more expensive.
Mileage in 3 months (January - March) is small - slightly over 3000 km, and almost entirely on asphalt.
I'm surprised that upon changing to a summer, all studs are in place, none lost, despite the vehicle being heavy. Handling is excellent, both on asphalt and on snow (- Vehicle:

I bought this tire in October 2015. I've already driven it for 3 seasons, exceeding 30,000 km. I'm as happy as a clam. Before this, I was running Michelin studded tires, although I'm a fan of Michelin, I usually always take their summer tires, but this time I had to admit that the Hakkapeliitta 8 was better in all aspects.

Better 7s on braking and handling on ice, which was a pleasant surprise. Handling on winter roads is also not a problem. The snowplow in the courtyard handles the fallen snow normally. In general, after the initial concern about the manufacturer being Russian, I've relaxed a bit.) The studs seem to be in place... Let's see what happens after the season. The only downside is the noise from the studded Hakkapeliitta tires and the price. Otherwise, it's okay

Not enough time has passed to make a full analysis (the tires were bought two months ago). Generally satisfied with the choice (the studs are all in place, does not freeze (normal elasticity) in the frost).
