I'd say it's been three winters. My tires are still bringing a smile to my face. I don't understand people who have never driven on our tires and criticize them. Before the crisis, I was driving on Hakkapeliitta 4, and after that I had to switch to a Camu Euro 519, and nothing out of the ordinary happened. I'd even say that for me, nothing changed.

In my opinion, Kamaz-519 is the best of the domestic tyres. I've driven on Cordiant and Amtel, and in terms of traction on snow, they trail behind. Nalchik Cordiant behaves similarly to Kamaz, up until speeds of 60-70 km/h, then begins to slide sideways. On asphalt, they all make noise, but the Amtel simply destroys the hearing aid.

They ride well on snow, both on packed down and fresh fallen, last winter I was always re-tracking my driveway. They behave predictably on ice, but not perfectly, I drove carefully. A pleasant surprise was the lack of noise inside the cabin.

Switched to a Corolla, decided to take the same winter tire, the Kamu 519. In total, I've driven over 100,000 km on it, can't say a bad word. Overall, I think our tires aren't far behind the Western ones, except perhaps in advertising.
