I've been running them on my logan for 4 years now, no complaints. Yes, they're loud and stiff, but they don't get stuck in the snow and they don't become ice skates on ice. And, as it turns out, their stopping distance is surprisingly short, I was expecting the worst.

When I last year was choosing tires, I found out that half of them are made in Russia, and almost all the rest in China. Not taking any chances, instead of the regular Kumho I bought a European ContiWinterContact. No regrets about it. What I expected, I got, and even more, in terms of handling in snow, the tire pleasantly surprised me.

After the first winter, I have a positive impression of driving on studded tyres. On the road, I have confidence that I am in control of the situation. All my actions are carried out by the car without unnecessary movements. Even on unploughed roads, the minimal deviations when crossing rail tracks are noticeable. By the way, I lost almost no studs last winter.

I do not know the actual mileage of the tire, but from January to April I drove 6000. The tires added weight to the car. The car behaves on winter roads satisfactory, as far as tires are concerned, they were balanced and nearly all studs were in place. The tread is certainly worn off, but I think there is still more than half left.

This set of tires is 4 years old, but they look like they can make it through the winter without any issues. About 80 or 90% of the tread is still in place, and there are no signs of cracking or bulging. The tread is worn down about half way to two-thirds. Installed in November, thought I'd spin 20,000 miles over the winter but changed jobs and traveled much less. Although wear is no longer a priority for me, the tire is one I like. It gripped well even on an icy uphill climb.

Installed at the end of January 2012, as the old tire was completely wore out, and I've been driving it ever since. Got stuck a couple of times in the spring on snow, but managed to get unstuck by rocking. It drives well on ice, but that doesn't mean you should drive with the pedal to the metal. It does make some noise on asphalt, but it's generally okay.

Everyone praises the Kamu 519, but two years ago I couldn't find the right size, so I put on a 518, am pleased with the purchase, the tire earns its money, in the snow it's fire, I can lay down the first tracks after snowfalls.

The tire is decent, not a 7, of course, but it will hold the road easily. Generally speaking, on light vehicles, this tire rides well, with no tire wear and no blisters. I myself climbed a fairly steep incline, whereas others simply slid back.

I bought this almost 3 years ago. Thought the main thing was to make it through winter and then next season I'll get new ones. As a result, I've been running this tire for 2 winters already and will start this winter.

Lost 2.3 mm from the tread on one wheel, doesn't affect traction on snow and ice on the snow chain. The tire generally holds the road well, comes out of the tracks confidently, doesn't want to stand cross
