DescriptionDescription Кама Евро 519
The Kama Euro 519 tire is a studded winter tire designed for passenger cars. The Euro 519 tire tread consists of two layers.
The lower layer has a dense texture. The stud lock is achieved due to the lower layer of the tread in the Kama Euro 519 tire. And the upper one allows you to maintain elasticity during operation in a harsh climate, thanks to the high content of natural rubber in the tire composition. The tread pattern guarantees a long service life during prolonged operation.
Technical characteristics of the Nizhnekamsk tire Euro 519:
- Provides excellent traction on difficult road sections (ice, snow) due to the fan-shaped arrangement of lamellas in the tread;
- the correct positioning of the studs on the tire reduces the noise level and improves traction;
- low fuel consumption due to the use of the latest modern technologies;
- adaptation of the tire to harsh Russian winter conditions;
- a holographic sticker on the tire, confirming the stud process at the factory. Thus, guaranteeing the precise fit of the stud and excluding damage to the tires.
- V-shaped grooves on the tread help the tire self-clean from dirt and snow.
Kama Euro 519 contribute to the confident movement of the car on difficult road sections. The tire is the optimal choice for domestic cars. The service life of the tire is from 1 to 3 seasons.

I accidentally bought it in Oktyabrsky with a discount. I was hesitant for a long time because those tires are designed for passenger vehicles and I have a T4. I decided not to engage in cargo transportation, although the bus is used only to transport people (average weight of around 500-800 kg), and even that's more air than weight. The first season, the tires performed normally, and I managed to get into some pretty tough spots. I didn't have to use a

The tire is similar to the Nokian Nordman on the protector with a small change in the stud installation. Durobatt on strong frost -25-30. In new condition, it roars strongly, but on the second season, the roar has subsided somewhat. Braking on ice is like all. Braking on the highway is confident. Big minus - it roars on a hard surface. During the winter, in strong frosts, not one wheel even drooped,

I went back to Camas with Euro 519 205/55 R16 for three and a half seasons. The car is equipped with ESP, ABS, and differential lock. In principle, you can drive with it, of course, carefully, keeping in mind that it's winter and slippery.
Now, in the essence. On the asphalt, the tire goes well, of course, not as well as the summer tire, but there were no unpleasant moments. On the snow, it goes

- Russian KAMA EURO 519 tires are not yet able to compete on an equal footing with imported counterparts. Longitudinal coupling properties on snow are promising, but on the track, all hopes for handling disappear. It's hard to "fuel" the car in a turn, so you need to slow down more before each one.
Skidding is poorly predictable and poorly controlled. There are also problems with braking on ice.
On asphalt, the tires work at an average level. When performing sharp maneuvers, the reactions to the steering wheel are "smudged". On uneven roads, these tires are one of the stiffest.
In the test, the tires took last place. If the manufacturer establishes control over the quality of tread, it will be possible to claim higher and no less honorable places.
