First of all, these are springs with an increased number of turns, shock absorbers with an elongated body and rod, front levers and steering knuckles of a different design. As a result, it was possible not only to increase the ground clearance to "crossover" 195 mm, but also to preserve "passenger car" handling. The engine range, in turn, was fully borrowed from standard versions. It consisted of two gasoline engines - in-line "fours" with a volume of 1.4 and 1.6 liters with a power of 100 and 123 hp, respectively, produced in China. Depending on the version, the engines work in "pair" with 6-speed manual or automatic transmissions, which were produced in South Korea. As for the content of the configuration, but all options were also taken from the standard Rio, which often became a reason for complaints from potential buyers who considered the initial versions to be poorly equipped, and the "top" ones - too expensive and containing a large amount of equipment that could be dispensed with.
