Third Generation

In 2014, Kia introduced the third generation crossover. The car shared a platform with the third generation Carnival minivan and was available in 5- and 7-seat versions. It turned out to be 95 mm longer than its predecessor, while the body stiffness was increased by 14%. The engine range consists of the previously existing 2.4-liter petrol "four", a 3.3-liter V6 of the Lambda series, and a new 4-cylinder engine with a volume of 2 liters with a turbocharger and a power of 240 horsepower. The diesel part was represented by a 2.2-liter CRDi power unit with a turbocharger with a variable geometry intake tract.

Fourth Generation

The debut of the fourth generation took place in the winter of 2020. The updated car has become significantly larger than its predecessor, increasing both in overall length and wheelbase. The engine range has undergone significant changes. It uses 4- and 6-cylinder petrol and diesel engines of the Smartstream series. Moreover, one of them with a volume of 1.6 liters is used as part of a "hybrid" power plant. The manual transmission has disappeared from the list of transmissions. Now the base is a classic 6-speed "automatic", and more equipped versions are equipped with 8-speed hydromechanical and robotic gearboxes. This generation is currently the current one.
