Tyre reviews Sailun Ice Blazer Arctic SUV. Page 2 841

I had to choose tires after buying a new car. Before that, I drove all cars with studded tires. Since studded tires from well-known firms have become very expensive, I decided to look for an alternative to inexpensive non-studded tires. After searching the entire internet for reviews and video materials, I stopped at Sailun Ice Blazer Arctic SUV 215/55 R18 99H XL. And I didn't regret it.
The tires really prove themselves for driving in harsh winter conditions. Moreover, last year's winter season had unpredictable weather - from thaw to snowfalls and frost below -30.
At first, I drove cautiously - getting used to new sensations after studded tires. Then I returned to my usual driving style. Of all the stars, I didn't give 5 only for resistance to aquaplaning, since there are no puddles in winter. In general, the tires drive well on deep snow, slush, ice, without creating inconvenience and unpleasant situations.

Winter has ended and it's time to leave a review of the Sailun Ice Blazer Arctic SUV 215/55 R18 99H XL tires. I purchased them in 2023. I spent a long time choosing between studded and non-studded tires. Before that, I only had studded tires. After watching videos and reading reviews, I decided to take the non-studded ones.
I didn't make a mistake with my choice. The tires are really good in winter operation. Moreover, this winter they were tested in various winter weather conditions. I don't know how they will behave on front-wheel drive cars, but for crossovers with AWD, they are perfectly fine tires. They hold the car well on the road surface, and they also handle deep snow and slush well.
I definitely recommend them for purchase.

I've driven on different tires, I have experience and can compare, Sailung Ice Arctic SUV is great rubber. I live in a mountainous area, not once did I skid anywhere. On the highway, I floor it, the tire holds the road normally. Potholes are not scary, nor are curbs. It handles turns normally, the sidewalls are very strong. My car is a Nissan Xterra. I recommend this tire to everyone, there's no point in overpaying for a brand.

Not bad at all for the price, previously had Cooper tires. Snowy slush when changing lanes is handled very confidently, but on an unrolled snowy road, it sways a bit... The oscillations are small, but they are present. Braking is confident, I thought it would be worse. Soft, all obstacles are overcome comfortably.

The overall impression is that of a fairly normal tire. Naturally, one needs to understand that this is not a premium product, but rather one of the cheapest. I've driven it for 2 seasons, and last year I didn't write a review because there was no snow in the Moscow region, but this year there was a lot. It's probably more accurate to compare it to other similar non-studded tires, so:
- this tire is better than the winter GoodRide tire I had, which I replaced after half a year because it was scary (Ford C-Max)
- this tire is worse than the Continental Viking 7, which I consider to be an ideal non-studded tire (Ford Mondeo).
It handles snow well on the Dargo, brakes well too, and doesn't get stuck no matter where I drive, it handles road unevenness and rutting just fine, and as expected, it brakes poorly on ice. If you're a careful driver, it should be suitable. The tire justifies its cost.

The tire is excellent for its cost. Of course, I won't compare it to Japanese TOYO or BRIDGESTONE. In terms of noise characteristics on dry roads, it's great, but only up to 120 km/h, after which it starts to howl, but I wouldn't drive in winter at speeds above 120 km/h anyway. I just decided to try it out for research purposes.
It drives predictably on snow, and on ice, it pulls a bit, but the four-wheel drive compensates for this. The manufacturing quality is normal, nothing extra is protruding anywhere. The tire was balanced on a 17-inch diameter normally, no more than 60 grams on one side of the wheel.
Summing up my experience with this tire, I can say that it's good. It will suit our winter conditions perfectly. And most importantly, the cost can satisfy many requests.

I ordered tires.
Judging by the answers to public questions to the seller, the production date of the tires to be sent needs to be ordered and written to the seller.
So I did, and in response, I received an answer that they would let me know within 3 business days. Not having received a response on the third day, I wrote to them myself. After my question, I received an answer that the tires would be from 2025.
Naturally, I was happy with this information! And, being satisfied, I began to wait for the arrival of the tires.
On 08.09.2025, I received the tires and was strongly disappointed. Out of four tires, three tires had a production date of 2023, and only one tire was from 2024!!!
I.e., not a single tire from 2025 was sent!!!!
So judge the seller yourself!!!
Apparently, that's why they send via TK, so that people don't refuse old tires, since the return shipping will be at the buyer's expense!!
Keep this in mind when buying from them, that you can also be deceived!- Size:

On a winter road, the tires keep the car stable, and on turns, the car does not skid.
The only drawback is that they are a bit noisy on dry roads at speeds over 80 km/h.- Vehicle:
