I've been driving since 1996. My grandfather spent his whole life driving and my father, at 74, is still doing quite well. He always told me that winter tires should only be studded. When I started driving, I somehow got it into my head that I should always put studded tires on for winter. But this year, in the fall, I had to buy new tires. Before that, I had driven for 5 seasons on Toyo Observe Garit G3-Ice.

The tires, I must say, are great, but a bit noisy. So, I decided to try out non-studded tires.

Let's give it a try, I thought, I'll take them for a spin and see (I didn't get rid of my old TOYO tires just in case).

In short, the Sailun tires really impressed me, they handle their duties as they should, and their behavior is predictable. Of course, on pure ice, studded tires make the car feel more confident, but I live in the North.

I drive between Moscow and the surrounding region, mostly in the capital. These are good tires for their price.

By the way, I drove on Sailun Atrezzo ZSR 215/50 R17 95W XL during the summer. They're really great!

I purchased Sailun Ice Blazer Arctic 225/55 R17 101H XL tires on 26.12.2022 from Mosaftoshina, which were manufactured in August 2022. The order arrived quickly, and I received it in Volgograd on 29.12. I drive quite actively and quickly. Before this, I had been driving on Bridgestone studs for 20 years.

After reading customer reviews on the website, I decided to try the Chinese novelty.

It's definitely worth buying.

The balancing is 10-30 grams. After installation, I immediately drove to the Ufa highway. Definitely, on acceleration on mixed roads, it's better than all VRX, but slightly worse than DMV2. It also loses to DMV2 when changing lanes and overtaking through a snow bank on the axis, but on glare ice and mixed roads (asphalt, ice, and packed snow), I was very pleased, it's quite stable. On slush with ice underneath, it's like any studded tire, average. On clean asphalt at -15, it's excellent. On December 31st, when approaching Volgograd, it was raining, and there were good puddles, definitely better than Bridgestone (I think it's obvious since there are wide longitudinal channels), there's no feeling of aquaplaning, it drains water and dirt outward, not inward.

The drawbacks (no surprises for me) are the controlled lateral drift when passing turns in active mode (very similar to the behavior of VRX from Bridgestone), which is due to the shape of the outer part of the tread, it's at an angle and slightly inward.

Also, when driving on asphalt and at high speeds, the ride is very comfortable, but as soon as you move to a frozen dirt road (I live outside the city), it rides like a cart (roughly).

But overall, based on my feelings, it's very good tires. For its budget, 4 wheels for the price of 1 branded one. This is the best tire :)))

Mileage is small since installation, but I've tried everything: snow, ice, slush and dry asphalt. It performs 9 out of 10 on all four elements.

I'm writing this review after driving approximately 5-6 thousand kilometers on these tires from this manufacturer. I purchased them in size 195/60 R15 with a tread pattern. They balanced perfectly, with minimal weights. This is the first Chinese-made tire that has been so even. Previously, I drove on two other Chinese summer tires, and it was a disaster. I have nothing bad to say about this model and manufacturer. I mostly drive in the Moscow region, but this winter I had the opportunity to drive more in other regions of Russia. For Moscow, this is a good option - it handles snow well, and also performs well in slush. On ice, you need to be careful and brake in advance. The acoustic comfort is pleasant after driving on studded tires, and when the car is still noisy, it's even more of a pleasure. But in Moscow, we've had two snowy winters in a row, and although they constantly sprinkle the roads with reagents, it's still a challenge. I drove on this tread pattern twice on the M12 toll road, and it was a bit scary to change lanes or drive at a slightly higher speed. On studded tires, I felt more confident (previously I drove on Hankook Winter I*Pike, Roadstone, and Continental tires). When starting from a traffic light in the city, when there's snowy slush, the wheels constantly slip and it takes a long time to get moving. When braking, the ABS often kicks in, and as a result, the braking distance increases significantly. Therefore, with these tread pattern tires, you need to brake well in advance. Previously, I drove on Bridgestone Blizzak tread pattern tires, which performed perfectly in all conditions. This one, of course, is not even close. I'll say one thing - with Sailun tread pattern tires, you can safely drive in southern regions during winter or where there's less snow. Next time, I'll consider studded tires again. Overall, the tire is good. There are just a couple of drawbacks. Would I buy them again? Maybe, maybe not.

Excellent tire. I've always driven on Blizzak, but in today's realities, I had to choose a different tire. And I didn't regret it. Ideal grip on the road. Everything is predictable. It handles snow well and is not bad at all on ice. Doesn't like ruts, like all traction tires.

For the money, I have no questions about it at all! It's perfect for winter in St. Petersburg. Keep in mind that you're not on studded tires and there will be no problems.

I managed to try them on dry and wet asphalt, as well as in snow, ice, and mud! I drive a lot and have something to compare with! In terms of feel and ride quality, they are in no way inferior to more famous manufacturers. At a speed of 160-180 on a wet highway, there are no problems. It absorbs bumps like a regular tire. On snow and ice, it handles normally, without extreme of course. In terms of noise, in any case, it's quieter than any studded tires, and in comparison with non-studded tires, everything is somehow similar. Before that, I had Nokian Nordman non-studded tires, and I didn't notice any difference at all! In general, excellent tires for their price! Who cares about brands, only China!

In December 2021, I decided to replace my winter tires. Considering the current winters (Central Federal District, Bryansk), I decided to buy non-studded tires. I relate to those who are said to "dig like a pig in oranges". Based on my experience with Sailun Atrezzo Elite summer tires, I chose Sailun Ice Blazer Arctic 215/60 R16 99H XL. I love cars and work in auto service, so I consider my opinion to be quite objective. The tires are awesome!!! The only drawback is that they don't always like the ruts, but it's not so bad that it would make me twitch. The braking and acceleration (2.2HDI, biturbo, 170 hp) are excellent!!!

I can say that the tires are excellent for their price, especially compared to well-known brands. My car is a 4-wheel drive 250hp, I had Michelin X-Ice before Sailun Ice Blazer, and Sailun holds the road much better both on snow and ice, they are quiet, just 5 stars!!!
