Tyre reviews Hankook RW11 i Pike. Page 2 343

The tires came with the Ford, 2014, made in Korea, previously had no experience with studded tires to compare with. What I liked - despite the age and mileage, the tread depth looks like new, all the spikes are in place, I would have driven them further, but small cracks are already visible on the rim closer to the disk; acoustic comfort is normal (summer Pirelli Scorpion Verde 4 seasons, when switching, the difference is almost imperceptible). What I didn't like - a slight lateral drift when entering a turn at a low speed (45-60 km/h). Overall, I would hardly buy new ones, I want to try something new, at the same time I give 4+.

High quality, soft, comfortable, no noise. On the road like nailed. The noise of the studs on dry asphalt is present, but not critical. On an icy road, the car goes uphill, while others are standing, got stuck in a jam, got out of the car and almost fell, because the road was a mirror-like ice rink, but while driving, I didn't even notice it. This is the best of all winter tires I've driven on before. Braking on ice is like all - skids a little, but stops without problems. Wear resistance is the highest, already 5 winters have passed, but I restore the studs after each winter. Loss of studs occurred from 20 to 65 in total on 4 wheels.

How can you order tires from this company if they send not what you ordered, but also old ones, 12 years old for the wheels, and they don't want to take them back after two months, what to do !!!

The tyres are on the VAZ-21214 Niva in size 205/75/15. They provide a good ride quality, are quiet and are good tyres. Overall, I only have minor comments about them in terms of directional stability on snow slush. Traction on wet and dry asphalt is excellent, on ice is a bit weak, but this is only when compared to the best passenger tyres, for example, Michelin X-Ice North 4, and that is predictable.

235/60/R18 - used since November 2013. I hope it will make it to its fifth winter. I have lost about three to four tread blocks on each wheel, but not all at once. For me, that's not critical. The tire's wear resistance is good, and it depends on driving style, of course. It's a comfortable tire for both city and highway driving. It keeps the track well. Prior to this, I was driving on Hakkapelita 4

The season is over. The mileage is around 3000 km. I drove 80% on asphalt and 20% on compacted snow. I replaced the original stamped wheels with new ones, there were no issues with balancing, the load is more than 40 grams. The rubber is soft, it does not ice over on cold temperatures. It rides normally, I am not an extreme driver, so I didn't notice any issues with the traction, steering and braking. It's not noisy

Excellent quality, quiet, soft, very comfortable ride, good handling on snow and ice, like driving on rails, almost like driving on a dirt road during braking, acceleration and driving on a winter trail without wheelspin, excellent traction, I highly recommend.

This is not my first experience driving Hankook. I previously had a Hyundai Tucson, drove it for 4 winters with excellent results. These are good tires for the price.

I've already purchased my second set of 225/70/16 and I'm completely satisfied with the price to quality ratio. The first set has been in service for about 7 years with late seasonal tire changes, I could have driven another season, but the cord started to crack and the wheels became misshapen due to age. It's good to replace them after 5 years, as I noticed micro-cracks on the sidewalls at the start of the 6th season.

I previously wrote a review. Nothing to add. The tire is specifically designed for Southern winters, where it snows, freezes, rains or dries out in any order, even the most unpredictable. The tire has performed well on any road.
