I was choosing between AT and MT for a long time, reading a lot of reviews about the previous model of this tire, so I decided to try the new model, 245/75 R16, and I'm extremely happy with it - it's very quiet on asphalt, and it's balanced almost perfectly everywhere, with a deviation of 20-40 grams, and 45-60 grams in these ranges (the tire technician was very surprised) although my previous Hankooks were not bad in

The first thing that surprised me about this tire is its low noise level despite having a good mud tread. Compared to the winter studded Hakkapeliitta, the noise increased by only 5 dB according to measurements, and to the ear, the difference is almost negligible. The tire is soft, well absorbs potholes and small irregularities. Previously, I drove on the also good Goodyear Wrangler MT 235/85-16 tire. The Wrangler was noisier, but the tire wore out less and was indestructible with a three-layer sidewall cord. The Hankook has two layers, but a powerful tread in the shoulder area. And now about the second pleasant impression: the tire pulls well in the mud, much better than the Wrangler, but that's also understandable since the tread is more spaced out. When deflating to 0.8, it flexes well and turns into a small caterpillar. I won't write about handling, braking, or wet asphalt, as this needs to be tested on a track, and I didn't notice any peculiarities. Now I'm waiting for the results on wear, it's likely to be increased, but we'll see. In general, I'm satisfied with the tire, I drive 90% asphalt, 10% fields, and forests.

Excellent tires that have actually become inaccessible for Russians to buy now. In terms of driving comfort and quality of execution, they are close to RT (rugged terrain) tires, compared to Yokohama Geolandar MT, they have weak side lugs, which makes Hankook DynaPro MT2 more dependent on the mud groove. I purchased them in March 2024 for 8800 per wheel in size 215/75 R15, I think this is almost a gift, considering that even Chinese MT tires already cost more than 11000 per wheel.

Good day to everyone. As with all "jeepers", the question of AT vs MT had been lingering. As you may have guessed, I chose MT. To my surprise, it's a very quiet tire, sufficiently soft, and has good wear resistance. Everything was fine until the mileage reached 35,000 km. After that milestone, it started to make a lot of noise, so I had to sell it and replace it with AT (asphalt, no matter what, at least 95%).
