I installed these on my volvo. I would definitely recommend these tires to anyone. They grip the road very well, the only drawback, like with all studs, is ice. On ice you need to be more cautious.

Great Winter Tire!
Not noisy, fairly soft, on asphalt, snow, slush, 5/5 on ice not bad! Studding is better on ice!
With plus, over 100km/h on the track it starts to float a bit!
Overall, a great tire for moderate driving! Cornering stability was impressive!

Decent for winter, suitable for a city where the streets are kept clean. Very slippery on dry asphalt at positive temperatures (be cautious with sharp turns and lane changes). Quiet and soft. Suitable for winter roads. Drives on snow. Doesn't drive on ice and uphill in winter. Brakes are mediocre. Better than a summer/all-season tire in any case.

Good winter tires. They are alright on snow, much worse on ice (but that is a characteristic of any "grippy" tire). Might have bought again, but this model is no longer in production. I searched for a replacement tire for one that was damaged - barely found one, so buy new models instead.

5S tread. Performs well on both highway and city roads. Nothing can stop it in the snow and slush. Pretty quiet. Driven on potholes till mid summer - no cracks. The only drawback is driving on ice. Otherwise, I highly recommend.

Significant drawbacks: 1) Floats excessively on dry asphalt. In turns, on braking and acceleration. ( taking into account that it's a summer tire ) 2) Fails in the first, very average directional stability. The steering wheel always needs to be corrected. 3) Characteristics of grip on ice are impressive. ( taking into account that it's a summer tire )

I wouldn't call myself a reckless driver, having had a bitter experience with a slippery road, so I don't let myself relax behind the wheel during the winter period.

I haven't run any tests on a slippery road and believed that there were no significant differences in tires and the car's behavior on a winter road at an extremely calm drive, and, in principle, I was confident in my tires (brand, price category, reviews, tests).

I decided to write about Hankook Optimo W606 since I owned it for two years or three seasons. This tire is made in Korea. I bought it in 2014, and sold it together with the car. The car came with a standard 185/65/R15 tire size, and I put on the same size. It is a winter tire and very soft.

The tire is good value for money, but unfortunately, it's not that great on ice.
