I can drive on asphalt and snow with this tire, fully meeting my requirements. I mainly drive in the city, maybe that's all that explains it. The snow fell, then melted and showed me what I hadn't expected from this tire...

I don't even know what to say about this tire. Everything in it is fine with me. Price-quality is 100%. The noise isn't more than any other good and expensive tire like Hakkapeliitta. It's got studs, of course. But the noise is minimal and uniform, not periodic like on a bad tire. The tire is very soft, on my SUV it just glides over potholes and irregularities.

I recently purchased new tires. First impressions are excellent, they don't squeal on bare asphalt, though I've never been blown away by Vitar's noise isolation to begin with.
