I bought these tires in size 235/85-16, drove for two seasons, mileage 20,000km. Wear is almost non-existent, all studs are still in place. Performs well in deep snow, not bad on wet asphalt. BUT! - does not grip on ice at all. Braking on icy roads requires early anticipation, consideration of side slip, and emergency braking is out of the question. The culprit is the studs which are too deeply embedded in the tread, and simply
