Compared to NF3, this is just crap. Sorry for my French. It seemed like yes, what was missing from the third model appeared - a wide groove in the middle of the tread. But in reality, I didn't feel any advantages. On the contrary, this tire is much worse. Frosty asphalt is generally not an option. On snow and ice, it's worse than NF3, hands down. And another factor - the studs. They're gone after the first winter.

The stud retention is weak
I've only driven about 6,000 km this winter, and the studs on the front wheels have come off. Maybe I drive too fast or brake too sharply? But the tires are good - they have good grip, are soft, and quiet. I used to have NF IV - they lasted four winters, then a friend bought them and is happy with them.

After the previous winter (driven about 8 thousand), also when re-shoeing, didn't count the studs, mainly on the front wheels. This is my first studded tire, I thought it was normal. Now, judging by the reviews, I see that it's not. Although, in general, I remained satisfied with the tires.

Not the most careful driver, but all the studs are still intact. Although, for example, my father, who drives much more carefully, loses about 5 studs from each front tire. I think it's all about the curbs, or rather how you drive onto them, and don't forget about tire run-in.

Excellent tire, didn't notice the transition from summer to winter in terms of noise, very quiet (for studded tires). Braking on all surfaces is excellent, good directional stability. Works well with ABS.

I've had these tires for the second season. Last year, I ran them in as instructed before ice and snow on asphalt, and I got around 600 km. Over the entire time, I lost 3 studs, 1 on the right front and 2 on the left front wheel. They perform super on snow and slush.

Excellent price-quality ratio.
I used it for 1 season (5-7 thousand miles). It behaves very well. Handling is excellent. Noise level is comparable to non-studded tires. No complaints. And considering the price ($110), the tires are just a dream. I lost a few studs on each wheel.
