    Before that were amtel - drive like you are flying over a cornfield, tremendous noise. My friend had a gislaved NF5, took a look and decided to buy one himself. Over the course of one season, not a single stud came loose, predictable behavior, excellent on the snow, not a fan of wet slush - pulls. Overall, excellent tires for the price.

    I have driven 7 winter seasons on these tires and they were produced in Germany. I think they are good and worth the money. Car behavior is predictable and confident, especially on black ice. It's so reliable that you often don't even notice if you're on dry asphalt or black ice. They also behave well in wet snow and puddles, wide grooves take away the slush/water and the car doesn't wander anywhere except straight.
