Tyre reviews Gislaved Nord Frost 5 656

After reading reviews, it's hard to understand what to make of the Gislaved brand. Everyone has their own car, driving style, region, and climate conditions, and some people drive on the highway, while others drive in the city or off-road. Some cities have clean roads, while others don't, and some people may exaggerate or write fake reviews to promote a competing brand or a rival manufacturer. Therefore, try it out for yourself, as the Gislaved brand is a respectable

The best tires, all the others would have been knocked off the road in 2 seasons 5 times, but with this tire, in 5 seasons, it happened only once, and that was with a rear-wheel drive car, when I was overtaking, and when I was returning to my lane, I hit a pothole, and it threw me off, although I let go of the gas pedal, and it simply threw me off, the weather was +2, it was snowing, I was driving in one direction at 70 km/h, normally, but when I was driving back, it was already raining, and when I got out of the car and tried the road with my foot, it was like a slippery surface, 10 cm thick, and only the asphalt lane was visible. If I hadn't been overtaking, I would have driven normally at 70 km/h, but others were driving at 50 km/h. I've seen a lot of tires, but really, Kislavod tires are the safest, there's no safer tire. And this particular model has a balloon that's divided into two parts, so it's like having 8 wheels on the road instead of 4. I was driving into a turn, and on the turn, there was a frozen puddle covered with snow, also with a rear-wheel drive car, I gave it some gas, and I felt it pulling, I cut the gas, and everything went smoothly.

Before that were amtel - drive like you are flying over a cornfield, tremendous noise. My friend had a gislaved NF5, took a look and decided to buy one himself. Over the course of one season, not a single stud came loose, predictable behavior, excellent on the snow, not a fan of wet slush - pulls. Overall, excellent tires for the price.

Bought in the autumn of 2011, I purchased two for the rear driven axle, and Gislaved Euro Frost 3 up front on my 2107. The driving style, I'd say, is extremely aggressive. On dry asphalt, it's very hard to get the tires to lock up when entering a turn, with a sharp press of the accelerator pedal, especially at medium to high engine speeds. The studs are almost inaudible with the windows closed. When you open the

I drive a Škoda Fabia 2 RS 1.4 TSI TwinTurbo 180 HP. I've got winter tires 195/55/15 (while on the supports I tightened them, the original size starts from 205/45/R16). The pressure is 2.2 bar across the board, and it looks like it's been deflated. The tire is a letdown. After 1500 km they all flew off on the front axle. It

I've been using these tires for 3 years. After the first year, all studs were still in place, after the second - I lost a few. They brake well on ice, and pull out of snow. However, on a snowy slush, the car starts to drift and skid. I don't remember the price, but they've paid off in full.

Ran on this tire for 5 seasons in 165/70 R13 size (an additional season was on the previous owner's vehicle), accumulated around 30,000 km, lost 50% of tread, of which 30% were from pothole damage. The tire is relatively quiet, at low speeds (up to 70 km/h) the squeal of the studs is only audible with the window open, and beyond that my noise insulation is crap. Predictably behaves on

The tire lasted for 5 winters and was replaced with the car to its new owner. Good wear resistance, especially considering Moscow's snowless winters. During the entire period of operation, no more than 15% of the studs were lost!!! At the time of purchase in 2009, the tire was one of the top - but progress does not stand still and now it is a good mid-range. On the asphalt it behaves quite predictably, braking is very decent. I have driven 7 winter seasons on these tires and they were produced in Germany. I think they are good and worth the money. Car behavior is predictable and confident, especially on black ice. It's so reliable that you often don't even notice if you're on dry asphalt or black ice. They also behave well in wet snow and puddles, wide grooves take away the slush/water and the car doesn't wander anywhere except straight.

The tire is quite good. Compared to Michelin, its durability is a bit weak, but the tire is soft and comfortable. I left Bishkek in autumn at night for Novokuznetsk, and prior to that, it was raining heavily. As soon as the sun set, the road froze. I've just retreaded the tire. On turns at 80-90 km/h, I feel it's a bit slipping, but it holds the road and the car is manageable
