Good tires
Very passable in mud, snow. Good on ice and dirt. Good at handling aquaplaning. Tiresome noise from the studs (but you can't get away from that). The studs, by the way, really do come off. If you don't change to summer tires in time, at temperatures above 10 degrees it becomes very "floaty" because it's very soft, but in -20 degree frost - IT'S A BOMB!- Control on a dry road

for the second winter on different wheels two punctures with a stud
GISLAVED NordFrost 5 was purchased on shina.ru in 2007. The rubber is good. for the second winter on different wheels two punctures with a stud!!! The master said it's a trend!!!
Disadvantages: for the second winter on different wheels two punctures with a stud! 13-02-2009I've been satisfied with the purchase for two seasons
Volvo 940. 195 65 15 rear-wheel drive. I bought studded ones in the original version. I've driven two winter seasons, mostly in the city and on the highway. Not a single stud has come off. This is despite the fact that the winters are almost snowless and there is no ABS. Of course, it brakes poorly on asphalt, easily going into skid. There is almost no wear

Excellent tire (Very satisfied!!!!!!)
I've driven the whole winter, mostly in the city (icy asphalt and slush) very pleased with the tire!!!!It's excellent both on ice and snow - very confident handling!!!!Quite quiet, for a winter tire!!!!I haven't lost a single stud all winter!

Decided to write, since I chose tires at the beginning of the winter season based on reviews of acquaintances and a significant percentage for Gislaved NordFrost 5, due to reviews on this site.

Excellent winter tires
Bought in the fall at a hypermarket. They hold the road perfectly. Throughout the winter, I didn't lose a single stud, although I did slam on the brakes and enter turns with skidding to test the tires. But like all studded tires on clean asphalt, the wheels lock up pretty quickly. So in the spring, you need to keep a distance.

Good tires, but not worth the money.
Tire hardness is 4. The only drawback is that it's expensive and performs poorly on wet asphalt.
Pros: On snow/ice - quite good.
Cons: On asphalt, especially wet - not good. Too expensive.- Control on a dry road

Excellent winter tires
I've driven two winters on a front-wheel drive Audi A6 from 96. And, although I always drive carefully, in principle, this tire allowed me not to change my driving style on the roads compared to the summer period. Even on "metalworker days" when 99.9% of the surface of what is usually called roads is covered with ice, this tire makes you feel very confident. Full predictability of behavior, absolute reliability in any weather - that

First acquaintance
I've just bought them, and they handle perfectly on dry and wet asphalt, I don't feel any grooves at all - it's great!!! I haven't driven in harsh conditions yet - I won't comment. They make less noise compared to Hakkapeliitta 4. I like them so far, we'll see how it goes.
Pros: Doesn't feel any grooves
Cons: Standard for all studded tires- Control on a dry road

The tires are great, I used to drive on GY UG-500, no comparison, they definitely excel in braking, they handle snow perfectly, and on ice, they are very confident, although I lost 20% of the studs on the front, over two seasons, yes, in conditions of warm winters, but in the back, all the studs are in place. I recommend them.
