Increased number of traction edges

The key advantage of the tire is its traction properties on wet surfaces. This is due to a number of features in the tread design. It is symmetrical and non-directional, but contains over a thousand traction edges. They are formed by numerous lamellas cut into all blocks, except for the tread elements that form a continuous longitudinal rib in the center.

Some lamellas are multifunctional, as they perform other tasks. In most cases, this is to ensure a more even distribution of external load. On the one hand, this has a positive effect on the wear resistance of the tread, and on the other, it gives the handling character predictability and reliability. The forces acting on the tire during acceleration are transmitted to the steering column more smoothly and without compromising speed and accuracy.

Extended shoulder blocks

Another feature of the tire's tread is the increased width of the contact patch formed by it. This is largely due to the presence of extended blocks in the shoulder areas, which are so long that a significant part of them is located on the tire's sidewalls. There are also special notches here that improve traction on unpaved surfaces.
