«Subaru Levorg» — a wagon from the Japanese manufacturer, which stands out with its stylish exterior, increased passability (for its class) and excellent equipment. Generation 1

All of them were equipped with a turbocharger, all-wheel drive system, and a Lineartronic variator.

As for the suspension, it was represented by a classic «MacPherson» structure at the front, and a two-link construction at the back. This solution allowed to preserve maneuverability and increase reliability.

Facelifts

In 2017, a facelift was carried out. Its main innovations were the autopilot system, which allowed to keep the lane at any speed, as well as blind spot control, automatic stop before an obstacle when moving backward, electronic rearview mirror, and adaptive headlights that could turn in the direction of the steering wheel. A new multimedia system with an 8-inch screen also appeared. Technically, the suspension was redesigned, and the settings of the 1.6-liter engine were changed.

In 2019, another facelift was carried out, which removed turbocharged engines from the lineup, leaving only the «atmospheric» one. Therefore, the proprietary air intake disappeared from the hood. Now, a 2-liter gasoline engine with 150 horsepower worked as a power unit.

Generation 2

In 2020, the second generation appeared, which was initially available only for the Japanese domestic market. The novelty is based on a new universal Subaru Global platform, which determined the increase in its size and ground clearance to 145 mm. In the cabin, a fully digital «dashboard» with a 12.3-inch screen appeared, which has the ability not only to change the visualization but also to display navigation. It is complemented by an 11.6-inch multimedia screen with physical keys.

A turbocharged 1.8-liter engine with 177 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque is used as a power unit. It works in conjunction with a Lineartronic variator, equipped with a manual mode of switching eight virtual gears. Naturally, the car is equipped with a rich set of various assistants that make its operation as comfortable as possible.
