Technically, the car is a "twin" of the second-generation Daihatsu Mira e:S, sharing with this model the modular DNGA platform developed by Toyota, as well as all units and components. Thanks to the new "cart", the minivan has become lighter compared to it by 80 kilograms at once, with a curb weight not exceeding 740 kilograms. About 35 of them were provided by the power frame of the body, which includes stamped side members. Another 30 kilograms of savings were achieved through the use of plastic front fenders and a trunk lid, thinner glasses, a thinner instrument panel, and optimization of the front seat design.

The chassis layout differs significantly depending on the type of drive used. The base versions have a front-wheel drive, which allowed the installation of a semi-independent beam at the rear. All-wheel drive models use a solid axle attached to the body subframe through longitudinal arms and a Panhard rod. Both options, due to optimized settings, provide a smoother ride compared to the predecessor. Under the hood is a 660-cubic centimeter engine - a "naturally aspirated" 3-cylinder power unit operating on the Atkinson cycle, developing 49 horsepower. But the control, both of the engine itself and the variator, is carried out by a single unit, which, in combination with the reduced weight of the entire car, provided it with better dynamics and fuel efficiency.
