In 2003, a new generation started, which was larger in size and also differed in a more high-quality salon trim. A year later, a seven-seat modification - "Grand Scenic" - was presented, which was even larger in size. The range of power units expanded and now included 4 petrol four-cylinder engines and three diesel engines. They worked together with a 5-6-speed "mechanics" or a 4-speed automatic.
