This generation underwent two stages of facelift in 2012 and 2014, which contributed to the improvement of the cars' appearance and also brought some additional options.

The fourth generation started to be sold in 2016. This is already a fully updated version, which is based on a completely new CMF-CD platform. The car increased in size, acquired many auxiliary systems, including those that enhance safety - lane control, speed mode information, blind spot monitoring, emergency braking system, etc.

In 2020, another restyling was carried out, which made minor changes, both in the exterior and technical part. The most significant was the release of the hybrid version M?gane E-Tech, which is based on 2 electric motors and a 1.6-liter petrol engine.
