Tyre reviews Toyo Observe Garit G3-Ice. Page 4 457

I bought a car equipped with new Toyo G3-Ice tires. It was the biggest disappointment in my life with tires. The only plus is the "made in Japan" label. Unfortunately, there are no more pluses. They were sold, a Nordman 7 was bought, the budget was approximately the same, but the grip - sky and earth! Not recommended.

Soft tires are good, but on slippery road with ice it's like on skates. On wet road drives stably - no pull and no float.

Prior to this, I had a set of Observe Garit G2S (studded) 195-65 R15 tires. They were great in terms of their elasticity and snow performance. After 3 years of use, I only lost 7 studs across the entire set. They handled well in controlled slides on ice, although I felt they could improve on braking performance on ice (personal experience). Overall, they were satisfactory so I bought a continuation of this line until I'm disappointed.

Snow, almost no roads - perfect. Duster automatic - tyres I like. No complaints and about the car's behavior on these tyres on the highway (although there is a noise).

Has poor snow handling, and fairly significant side loading on turns. Compensated for, in principle, by the vehicle's electronic stability control.

I'm driving a MITSUBISHI LANSER 10 with TOYO summer tires, with around 15,000 km on them, and I only have positive impressions. The road grip is excellent, whether the road is wet or dry. The noise level is average, like all tires. Before, I had DUNLOP tires, and I couldn't say anything negative about them. I bought TOYO winter tires for VAZ 2105, and they're top-notch -

Extremely loud. By the end of the tread, almost all of the tread wear off on the front tires (of a front-wheel drive vehicle). However, this is more normal than not, given that this set has 25,000 miles on it.

Extremely loud on asphalt - from 50 km/h there's no rumble but a roar, as if the wheel bearings have taken off. Soft, after summer Michelin Latitude, I rest on potholes as if on a feather. Knee-deep and higher in the snow, powerless - several times this winter I got stuck while exiting the parking lot after a heavy snowfall, despite four-wheel drive. On the highway, the car skids noticeably, especially the rear end, transverse

Ran on the tire for three seasons. After the first season, 50% of the studs were shot, the tread was like new. I ordered re-studding and then drove safely for another two winters. I'm definitely satisfied with the tires. Re-studding is cheap, the tire is excellent. After three seasons, the studs are still in place, the tread is still normal.
