Essentially, this is the same engine in a large number of versions, running on both gasoline and diesel fuel. The power of the power units varies in a very wide range - from 150 to 320 horsepower. Even the "basic" engines, thanks to turbocharging, have high torque ratings - from 350 Nm. Since 2017, the manufacturer has been offering modifications with a hybrid powertrain. Moreover, these were the most "charged" versions, which surpassed even the T6 in terms of power. Their layout was untypical for all-wheel-drive Volvo vehicles. The internal combustion engine could supply torque exclusively to the front axle. In turn, the addition in the form of a traction electric motor was located on the rear axle, adding 87 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque to the powertrain. Of all the versions of this car in our country, the "off-road" Cross Country has proven to be the most popular, which, in its concept, is a crossover, but with driving characteristics close to a passenger car.
