Second Generation

In 2005, the brand introduced the second-generation car. The key innovation was the abandonment of the soft-top convertible. This was due to the fact that such versions were characterized by pronounced shaking and vibrations due to the insufficient strength of the body on bending and torsion. At the same time, a maximally rational solution was chosen to create a car with a hard folding roof, which made it possible to replace both modifications. The 3-section element was developed jointly with Webasto and was raised and folded in less than 30 seconds with the press of a single button. Another button activated the drive that lifted the folded roof to increase the trunk opening. Another important feature was the increased body stiffness, which decreased by only 15% when the top was folded. The next important innovation was the significant expansion of the engine range. As with its predecessor, its base consisted of turbocharged in-line "fives" gasoline engines. However, in the second generation, diesel engines with a volume of 2 and 2.4 liters and a power range of 136 to 180 horsepower were added. The car, due to its specificity, cannot be called popular in our country, nevertheless, a certain number of instances of this model are present on domestic roads.
