I bought them as a replacement for the old worn-out studded tires. I spent a long time choosing, thought about getting studs, but eventually settled on this model and didn't regret it. It's quiet, rides beautifully, fuel consumption hasn't increased. It doesn't become square even below -40, and the wear is minimal over five years. It even runs smoothly on the bare ice of the Leningrad Ice Road without any slipping or skidding.

Excellent tire. Mine was made in Japan. Quiet, good rolling resistance. Drove on several before this. Definitely a step up.

Prior to this, I had experience with studded tires and studs. The tires were purchased in October 2018. Before that, I also had the studs BRIDGESTONE Blizzak DM-V1 (approximately 80,000 km driven per tire, severe wear, thought about replacing for summer as there is enough life left) and I will be comparing it with the BRIDGESTONE Blizzak DM-V1. The Yokohama Ice Guard G075 has a much better side
