Tyre reviews Yokohama Ice Guard IG30 198

First impressions of the Yokohama Ice Guard IG30 tires, size 205/60R16, installed on a front-wheel drive MINI Cooper Countryman (I maintain pressure at 1.9-2.0 atm for the front wheels and 1.7-1.8 atm for the rear wheels), after driving 40,000 km with Continental Viking Contact 5 tires (reviewed on the site). I will be comparing them with the latter:

Handling

Worth mentioning are the traction-oriented tyres, which are grippy yet soft enough to work well on both asphalt and a snow-covered road. Good grip on ice, predictable behavior on any surface. Good value for price. Highly recommended!

The most SHIKARNA rubber, however, only for South regions. I bought it 5 years ago for use in Moscow, but it never saw the streets there. I used it in the Rostov region for about 3-4 months a year over the course of two years. The snow roads of the South (and I'm shocked, even at the South, drifts above the waist) without any problems, the main thing not to sit on your belly, it pulls everywhere

Used OTSTOY tire IS FULL!!!

The tires performed excellent in the Adygea mountains on a road where only 4*4 vehicles can drive. Wet snow and a strength test for all-wheel drive vehicles. Not everyone made it to the end of the route in the mountains.
