Tyre reviews Yokohama Ice Guard IG65. Page 4 1258

I've been driving on iG65 for three seasons now, and the tires are really great. On ice, they handle excellent, thanks to the studs I feel confident, the braking distance is short, no matter what people write in the reviews! Snow and wet asphalt are also not a problem, the car is stable to handle. True, at first they are a bit noisy on the highway, but you quickly get used to it. Overall, an excellent choice for harsh winter!

For our winter, these tires are a real gift. I installed them for the first time this winter and was pleasantly surprised, the spikes of a special shape grip perfectly on ice. The handling is very confident, driving has become calmer, there is no fear of skidding.

High-quality tires, do not become brittle in frost, accordingly, on the road, everything is in order. Over the entire time, a couple of studs have come off, but that's a trifle compared to what I had before.

I've been using Sportage for the third year, bought them almost without a choice, it was already very urgent, -10 hit. I'm happy with the purchase, they justified the hopes that I didn't even have, I just needed to switch to them as soon as possible for the summer. The studs are firmly in place, on ice they don't slide, and on snow they drive excellently.

Changed to winter tires on November 1, and winter in St. Petersburg really started only in mid-December. Drove for a month and a half on dry asphalt. The first impressions are as follows, warm weather from +10 to 0 is not its element + studs make noise like an airplane))) the driving style has changed. At a positive temperature, the rubber is soft and the studs are like skates, the car seems to float on the road. Comfortable driving in such conditions is smooth acceleration and equally smooth braking, an average speed of 60-70 km/h is enough. Now that snow has fallen and the temperature has dropped below zero, with ice and slush on the roads, the picture has changed dramatically for the better. Good handling and control over the car in such conditions have increased from 0 to 100. On the highway and not very clean dirt roads, it drives calmly and confidently. At the moment, I am satisfied with these tires, they are worth their money.

How long I've been driving, I've only been on studded tires in the winter, I don't know how you can drive on spikes, it's just an awful noise, it's simply not realistic to drive over 80 km/h in the cabin. The last priority was Yokohama IG65. Normal tires. Moderately soft, quiet and very obedient. Without any adventures, I passed everywhere with them, water, snow, ice beaten to pieces on the asphalt didn't create any problems at all. I don't know, it suited me

Hello to everyone who reads this, just like I did back in the day. I spent a long time choosing, looking at Sailun, wanting to limit my budget, and after reading reviews online and comparing them with ratings on mosavtoshina, I opted for Yokohama Ice Guard for winter studded tires.... And I didn't regret it. I bought them for my new Tiguan for winter in the North-West of Russia-Matushka in 2019. My mileage is roughly 70% highway. Excellent tires!!!! Now, with 148,000 km on the odometer, i.e., I plan to change them to summer tires in 2024, I can see that I'll survive the winter of 2025, which my tire fitter has also confirmed.

The tire has performed well, I've been driving it for the second season. It handles the road well, and it's excellent on snowdrifts. I mainly drive in the city, the roads are cleaned occasionally, so I'm fine with studded tires. As for noise, they're also okay, I don't find them too loud.

I'm satisfied with the tires, I recommend them for purchase, good braking on different road surfaces. They are relatively quiet considering they are studded.
