These tires were purchased for an experiment and installed on the front, on the steering wheel.
The experiment was successful and the quality of the car's handling, both loaded and empty, has improved. With our roads with potholes, soft tires save the suspension and disks.
The tire size is 225 70 16R. It fits easily into the wheel arches of the front wheels.
In the spring, we will test the 235 60 or 65 wheels, and we'll see how it goes.
I would like to warn you right away: either safety or economy - with a larger contact patch, fuel consumption increases (not significantly), but at the same time, the braking distance decreases.
