I was looking for Hankook tires specifically. Overall, I liked them. The running-in period took around 500 km, initially they were a bit stiff, but then they broke in.
Pros:
+ low price
+ soft (unevenness and potholes are passed comfortably)
+ made in Korea (in my opinion, domestic and Chinese tires are inferior in quality, even if only slightly)
+ despite the softness, the car doesn't float in turns
+ didn't struggle much in snowdrifts, and the grip on winter roads (snow, slush) is decent, never had a thought to worry about the braking distance
Cons:
- average resistance to aquaplaning at speeds of 100+ km/h
- a bit noisy, but for winter tires, it's quite comfortable
- doesn't hold the track very well
- mediocre on ice (which is quite natural, since it's not studded tires)
I would recommend it as a budget alternative to "Pirelli", "Kumho", "Nokian" and others.- Vehicle:
