Tyre reviews Gislaved Nord Frost 100. Page 9 543

I used Gislaved NF 100 SUV on the last two cars for winter driving.
It's a great winter tire for a big city - that's what I specifically chose it for.
The tire behaves perfectly on wet and dirty asphalt - 90% of my winter trips.
Even in heavy snowstorms, where the road is covered with 10 cm of snow and ice, and hasn't been cleared yet - it handled perfectly.

Bombastic tires? I chose one that is made not in Russia but is a brand name. And it doesn’t matter which one, only not from China. Nokian flew out of Russia, Michelin and Pirelli also turned out to be Russian. Gislaved made in Germany I took even without thinking and didn’t regret.
The acoustics is at a high level, it doesn’t howl, usage in Moscow, almost always on asphalt.

Normal tire, not very noisy, not bad wear, considering the gearbox robot is constantly slipping, the tread does not wear off much.

I chose this tire after searching through a lot of reviews. At first, it made a bit of noise, like all studded tires, but the balance was good. My wife has been driving on it for three winters now. In a word, any tire can handle any weather conditions if you use your head. Just follow the speed limit and even the cheapest tire will get you through.

I spent a long time choosing a tyre with studs - all summer. I considered all the possible options. I re-read hundreds of reviews. Then I decided on the best size for my wheels. And in the end I chose the Gislaved 100. I bought them, fitted them and realized that I made the right choice! Everything is perfect - acceleration and braking. Handling is at 100% in any conditions. Deep snow, ice, ice under the snow, snow mix - these tyres

Very adequate winter tire. On my wife's car, I only occasionally drive it, but her impressions are only positive. Holds the road well, braking on any surface is predictable, without skidding and surprises. The only fly in the ointment: a quite noticeable and annoying hum in the 80 km/h range.

Great tires, drive on all surfaces in the rain, snow, ice, potholes and ruts. Recommend.

Great value for quality. On ice when turning, skid while braking, accelerating to skid. Of course, within reason - it’s winter, after all, not summer. As they say, rely on tires, but don’t be too sloppy.

I had this tire on my previous car and it performed great. It gripped well in the snow, and on the ice within reasonable conditions everything was fine. I had to brake on a bare asphalt with the toe using the studs, and they were all in place. I always chose a product of foreign production.
