I constantly drive my car both in the city and on the highway, living in the suburbs. In our region, the condition of winter roads leaves much to be desired. The tires perform excellently both on snow and on ice. We've acquired a second car for long trips. I will be purchasing Sailun tires for this car as well.

Price and quality, why overpay, more expensive doesn't mean better. I took the maximum winter size in terms of width, slightly increased the profile, could have even gone bigger.

I finally bought and tested this Chinese tire. I've read a lot of reviews about it. I tried to find information about it everywhere, but there's not much. After all, more well-known brands are mostly advertised.

In general, I took a risk and bought it. By the way, I have summer tires from the same manufacturer, and they suit me just fine, but that's a different story.

I will compare it to Bridgestone Revo GZ, studded, as I've been driving on it for the last 5 years, buying studded tires because for some time, there was no normal winter in St. Petersburg, and practically the whole season was around 0 degrees, with no need for studs. But over the past 2-3 years, something has happened with the climate and municipal services, and my 3-year-old studded tires stopped performing their functions as winter tires. I needed to change something, and that's when I decided to try the Chinese brand.

So, in comparison, on ice and frozen asphalt: there's a huge difference in favor of the Chinese tire. Even when the Bridgestone was new, it didn't have such an effect.

Packed snow: the Chinese tire is also much better.

Snowdrifts of different types of snow, soft, heavy, etc.: the Chinese tire is also better, as the tread pattern cleans itself much better than the Bridgestone. In general, it grips well and handles snow better, and the anti-lock braking system light flashes much less often.

Thawed snow, slush: the Chinese tire is definitely better, and I can say that it has better directional stability, as when overtaking on the highway and entering slush, it no longer throws and slows down as much. In general, it's become much more comfortable.

Rain, puddles: I haven't had a chance to test it in such conditions yet.

Dry asphalt: I haven't encountered it yet either.

So, the Bridgestone is definitely worse in terms of winter characteristics, but it's quieter in terms of comfort. The Chinese tire is, of course, much noisier. In its defense, I'll say that I've driven on louder tires before, but still, it howls terribly at speeds from 60 to 100 km/h. But I understand that it's because of the studs, and there's nothing that can be done about it.

Also, the Bridgestone seems softer to me, although it's strange considering that its cord is wooden.

Regarding balancing, there were many reviews that the tire is uneven and can't be balanced, but I disagree. My tire was balanced with a maximum of 40 grams of weight on each side, and I drive without any vibrations. It's probably just that some people get tires from batches that were stored or transported incorrectly.

The studs are, of course, the simplest and smallest. They don't seem to be rusting yet. I haven't seen any missing studs, but I haven't looked specifically. In any case, it's always possible to add more studs if needed.

If I summarize, I'm satisfied with the tire for now, but I can give a more accurate assessment only after the next season. I once had Korean Winter I-Pike RS tires, and on the second season, the studs started to fall out in batches, and I could hear 1-2 studs falling out in the wheel arches every time I drove.

I've been using Sailun tires for a long time. Initially, I used the light truck model and I'm 100% satisfied. I tried to upgrade to the OP-25 on my OPEL, and the 0+5 model is like a studded tire, it's like a summer tire. I'm happy with it. Thank you.
