Tyre reviews Hankook W429 i Pike RS2. Page 8 1813

All fellow club members recommended iPike on the stud after I ended up in a snowbank on the studded tire.
I was able to test them in slush on the parking lot and on bare ice. My delight was boundless. The ice bites, the slush scoops so much that it even throws it onto the side windows. I'm very pleased and started feeling confident while driving. Predictability is present. It slides a bit on asphalt. Also, I drove on it on the M4 and gathered all the seasons. In a blizzard at 90, it feels good. But starts to lose grip like an airplane from 110. Well, after riding on asphalt and potholes, not a single stud was lost. It was also balanced okay, around 30 grams.

The tire is fine, it grips well on both snow and ice. The studs are sturdy. Regarding noise, it's not related to the Duster. Up to 130 km/h on icy roads is normal, didn't try to speed up more.

Didn't drive much in the winter, but I can't leave negative reviews. Holds normally, starts great, everything suits me.

I bought these tires in December 2023. The tires are excellent, there's a lot of snow in Moscow's yards this year and they're not being cleaned, but the tires haven't let me down once - I was able to drive out of any snowbank. Once, the wheel got stuck in a pothole in the snow, but fortunately, the car has a manual transmission, so I was able to rock the car and get the wheel out of the pothole. The "Almera" behind me got stuck and couldn't get out on its own. On the M-12 highway and the Central Ring Road, the car drives confidently, both on dry asphalt and on snow-covered roads. The studs are still almost all in place. Of course, the tires are new, so I don't know how they'll hold up in the long run, but for now, I have no complaints about the tires.

Not Hakka, but considering the price, the ratio is better. I rated based on driving both in and out of the city during the Moscow winter of 2023-2024 with rear-wheel drive in different precipitation and temperature conditions at speeds of up to 170 (briefly), 130-140 cruising on the highway.

Winter 2023-2024 has proven that the tires are very good. I understand that comparing them to the studded tires I used before is not quite fair, but both in the city and outside, driving is a real pleasure. I recommend 👍

Great tire. Even considering the car's poor condition, it pulls wonderfully, my wife is satisfied, it even gets out of the most miserable places with her female driving intuition. And in terms of characteristics, it is only slightly inferior to Hakke 9. I definitely recommend it. Price quality is fire 🔥!

Not solid, but a five. I recommend to everyone.
This is already the second set. On the previous one, I drove 2 winters (approximately 25,000 km), more than 50% of the studs remained. I put it on my wife's car.

The tires are satisfactory, they perform excellently on ice and snow, and even on dry asphalt, they brake very confidently. They are soft, well-balanced, and do not make noise. They showed themselves to be very good in courtyards (deep snowy mud), they grip until you get stuck. I am very satisfied with the purchase.

The tires are good, no matter what anyone says. The previous ones were Michelin, I drove on them for almost 9 winters, the tires hold the road perfectly, although there were almost no studs left, BUT they are noisy, I just can't take it. Over 9 winters, they never wore out, every winter was like riding on a rocket. Before Michelin, I drove on Hankook for 7 years, there were no problems either, they also hold the road well, I lost 12 studs over the entire time, well, maybe only a little worse than Michelin, not critical at all, but there's almost no noise.
Anyway, we'll get through the winter and then we'll see...
