I purchased tires for my car - Audi A5 qattro. The region of use is YANAO.

I bought the car with "lipuchka" (summer tires) and due to the region's specifics, I decided to change to winter tires. This was in 2019, and the set of tires in size 245/40 18 cost me 36,000 rubles, including delivery.

After the purchase, I drove and everything was fine, this was my first tire purchase and I didn't have much experience to compare with. Later, I acquired a second car, Q3, and new winter tires with Dunlop spikes for it. After that, I realized that I was much more confident when entering turns with the Q3, the directional stability was much better. And the braking before intersections was much more understandable. And if part of the difference can be attributed to the center of gravity, platform, weight, and so on, then part of it cannot be explained by these factors. After that, a Q5 appeared on spiked Pirelli tires instead of the Q3, and I finally became convinced that the Hankook tires were not holding at all.

Conclusion

In "gas to the floor" mode, the tires hold and grip exceptionally well. Entering turns sideways under gas is a pleasure. I use the car little in winter and only for driving, but after 12,000 km in winter and 6 winters, all the spikes are still in place.

In "calm city driving" mode, the tires DO NOT hold at all. They brake poorly, and when accelerating, the car skids sideways. When turning the steering wheel, the car wobbles like it's on summer tires. I would attribute all this to the age of the tires, but remembering the sensations from the tires at the time of purchase, it seems that it's not just about that.

I bought a set of Hankook K424 Optimo tires for the summer in advance in February 2022 for 3640 rubles per piece, they were not available in Ufa, so I had to order and pay for shipping by a transport company, around 1000 rubles. I haven't driven them yet, but I'm already satisfied, since the price today is 5000 rubles per piece and above, I hope they won't let me down on the road and will justify their brand!

Took a set of 250/55 R16 94T XL for the Sonata EF in August 2021 for 20k.
