I've been driving on this one for 11 winters, so I chose it again

Hello, I'm writing a review for the first time, so don't judge me too harshly. The tire is good, 175/80R15 is a rare and expensive size, not much choice. The rubber is excellent, soft on potholes and unevenness, it's convenient to drive in winter and especially in autumn. The tread is great, directional pattern, it handles snowy slush and water perfectly. It doesn't get stiff in frost, even at -35 degrees and below. On pure ice, I tested it in a drift on a polygon at 60 km/h, it holds perfectly, doesn't skid. For winter driving on snow, ice, asphalt, with adequate driving, it showed itself to be excellent.

Excellent winter tires without studs, took them for Sorento, they grip well, brake well. Perfect for city driving)

Took winter new ones for the first time, before that I was driving on Bridgestone B, of course, new ones can't be compared, they're sticky. If it weren't for the price increase, and they're no longer available, I would have taken another set.

When compared to non-studded tires from a well-known American company, currently produced in Romania and Poland, I can say one thing - Hankook is at least an order of magnitude better. Very soft. There were no problems with handling on winter roads (in any condition - dry asphalt, dry loose snow on asphalt, ice on asphalt, ice and ruts on asphalt, snowy slush on asphalt, and the same conditions off asphalt). It brakes very confidently. Given that I actively use the car, especially off-road, I can say with confidence that these tires are very good. The only drawback is the icy ruts filled with water in the spring, but it can be overcome with desire.

I have experience driving on winter roads since 1996, and I have never used studded tires. The reason is one - I subconsciously rely on studs, and they can easily fail. When driving on non-studded tires, you really assess the situation and behave accordingly on the road.

Regarding Hankook Dynapro i cept, I have used them on two Nivas without any problems. I would get the cars stuck so badly that I could barely get out through the window, dig myself out, and drive away. For my third Niva, I plan to use only these tires.

I have a Nordik IS version.

It got 2 seasons of use, I changed it in October and at the end of May and was able to hit the warm weather rides. At temperatures above +15 it floats a bit as it is soft, but it has excellent directional stability! I rode it with pleasure for two winters, on both short and long trips (Arkhangelsk, Karelia, Kirov region), the car is predictable and holds trajectory well. As for

Too soft of a tire. It handles fine in the snow, but in the muck, it just won't move. It sticks immediately. The previous Goodrich Winter slalom was way better. I won't be buying Korean tires again.
