Excellent wheel

Excellent tires, behave well on ice and snow, at high speed everything is fine, brake well on ice, for this money it's just a gift

Excellent tyres. Hold very well on snow covered roads. Allow confident cruising at 100-110 km/h even when one side is driving on cleared asphalt and the other on rutted snow. Can't comment on noise level as this would depend more on the car's soundproofing. At least with the windows closed you don't hear the tyre noise on dry asphalt.

Previously there were Gislaved Nord Frost 100 tyres. I had them for 6 years and 60,000 km, and the studs had all broken down. I decided to replace them with Nord Frost 200. Everything is fine so far, the studs are still in place. On January 10th, I was driving on M5 in Bashkortostan during a snowfall, the roads were not cleared, and there was 10 cm of snow. Bought as winter tires for my daughter who just got her license. Confidence on any road. Good on snowy roads. Doesn't "pull" the car. Excellent handling. No noise. Holds well on ice.

Tire size 225/45 R17.
Run-in in accordance with the instructions (1000 km without sharp starts and braking).
Drove dynamically, as the car allows.
After 1 year of use, I lost 1-2 tires from each wheel.
2 years later, I began to gradually understeer, half of the tread had worn off.
3 years later, I was drifting, and the last tread left the wheels

It’s time to switch and the question of what to buy found me in due time. Before that, I was riding on a Hankook 7, not bad tread, but not super either, the sidewall was soft and a pothole was guaranteed by the season, and it was loud to the point of being terrifying, and the Gislaved pleasantly surprised me with its quieter ride and it gripped just as well as the Hankook.

Operating in the Arkhangelsk region, with plenty of snow and ice. Only positive emotions. No questions on ice or loose snow. The price is very attractive for my size (235/45 R18). Another plus is the asymmetrical, but non-directional tire. The tire from the right side can be mounted on the left. For studded tires, they are very quiet. I recommend.
