The first two seasons were faithful companions. Snow and ice – nothing to write home about: - the snow raked and buried, the ice chomped. Only on turns was it unpredictable (sometimes it threw me into a skid, or the rear end would lock up). In a straight line, it held well, but then again, there's a catch – on dry asphalt, the growl persists (it's cured only by loud music). And here's the most interesting thing: The

Drove on it for three seasons (2007-2009), with a total mileage of about 20,000 km. Disadvantages: is too soft, in turns gives noticeable understeer; requires countersteering on straights; makes a lot of noise. Advantages: in three seasons I lost only a few studs on the entire set! (considering the front drive and 250 horsepower - the anti-lock braking system was not always able

The tire was on the 14th rim with no complaints. Now, it's on the Nissan, and I'm overall satisfied, as it never locked up and I never got into a precarious situation. As for the noise, let's not forget that it's a winter tire with studs.

I struggled for a long time to choose a winter tire, affordable and good quality. As the IC5000 is no longer produced, the price is lower, I managed to find it in one of the stores, brought from the stockroom - bought, installed.
I immediately noticed that it is much louder than the summer tire)))
But then the studs wore down and it seems it got quieter.
What I can say - good tire and especially it's cheap.
I haven't compared it with anything yet

The tires have been running for the third season. Not a single stud has fallen off in three years, it’s durable, it holds the road well, whether dry, or ice and snow. Overall, the tire is excellent, the only drawback is that it’s noisy on the highway above 80. But the inconvenience is more than compensated by the safety on the road.

Four out of five stars.
I drove 5 winters (about 50,000 km) in St. Petersburg and Finland.
The studs lasted only until the fourth winter.
It's quiet.
A little bit soft, but I even liked it.
The only minus is that in the last, fifth season, it started to badly grip ( wore out the sipes, although the tread itself was still- Vehicle:

Excellent tire. Truthfully, the first year it was like a jet-plane (50-70 km/h range), but in the second season it settled in and is now not very noisy.
Holds the road perfectly, the only comment is that on black ice (frosted) in a turn it slightly understeers the rear axle. But here you need to choose a safe speed. On ice, acceleration and braking are 4-. Almost never reaches ABS. Drifts during

I always loved (bought this type for the past 8 years and the current car as well) and still love, unfortunate that they discontinued it - I'll buy the updated 7000, more expensive but I won't change the brand.

Drove for 2 seasons. For an off-road vehicle, it's better to opt for the non-directional tread pattern - it digs in on the way in but doesn't hold the curve on the way out On the track at 150 km/h it holds up well, but on the turns you have to be more careful. Over the 2 years, the studs have remained in place, even though I've been driving on asphalt. Overall, I'm satisfied. As for those who have

Drove for two seasons. Size 215/70R16. My first studded tires. Overall impression - disaster! 15-20% studs came loose in two seasons (I'm honest, drove like on non-studded tires, in front of the rails and etc. didn't slow down). Will not speak about noise - within normal range for studded tires. On ice or packed snow, braked no better than non-studded Bridgestone DM-01, and on asphalt
