I bought them for a Touareg, replacing studs and I've never felt any weight gain, comfortable driving down to -15°C, after 15°C it becomes a bit stiff. It only loses to studless tires on ice and if it's expensive to drive on a frozen road, the braking distance increases. Silent. Ideal for city driving.
