DescriptionDescription Maxxis MT-762 Bighorn
Released by one of the most well-known and respected global manufacturers, the Maxxis MT-762 Bighorn light truck all-season tire with increased passability is designed for four-wheel drive off-road vehicles, pickups, and light trucks that operate in off-road conditions.
The design of the non-directional tread pattern of the radial tire features an aggressive exterior design. In the central part of the tread, there are two rows of high blocks made in the shape of polygons. Due to their close proximity to each other and original shape, these two rows of blocks actually form a single central rib, thus providing a larger contact patch area, a high level of comfort, and reduced rolling resistance.
In addition, this solution allowed improving the strength characteristics of the tire due to a more even distribution of external load. In the shoulder areas of the tread, there are powerful tread lugs that extend to the sidewall of the Maxxis MT-762 Bighorn tire. These tread lugs feature a large height and an original profile, which significantly reduces the likelihood of puncture or cutting of the tread edge or sidewall of the tire.
When driving in off-road conditions, the tire demonstrated excellent smoothness of ride combined with a high level of passability on sand, mud, deep snow, and rocky surfaces.
Main features of the Maxxis MT-762 Bighorn tire
- checkered side lugs provide excellent traction when driving on rough terrain;
- remarkable self-cleaning abilities due to the deep tread pattern of the tire;
- high resistance to punctures and cuts due to the deep tread pattern and original design of the shoulder areas of the tread;
- aggressive tread design provides high passability on mud and rocks.

The tire is humming but it's only audible with the windows down. It was well-balanced only on one wheel, 70 grams were added to the side, 30 grams on the other three, and it's humming even more, and as a result, the handling is more stable on the asphalt, whether on wet or dry roads. I haven't driven in the snow yet, I just installed it last time, and I put on 265/75/16. It's cheaper than

I never trusted Chinese manufacturers but I decided to buy Chinese because the tire is a tire, I thought. I bought it online. It was delivered in a day. I immediately realized what I was dealing with - the tire is a real rock. Aggressive sidewall. It feels like it's bulletproof. I installed it and immediately wanted to go out to the suburbs to test it. Eventually I made it to the weekend. A good rain passed just before the weekend and the already bad road turned

It's already the 3rd season of use... wear of about 50%...
I put on the tire at the end of March and take it off in mid-November.
I compared it with a 1 goodrich, it was on another car... 762 is better gripping on all surfaces, but it also wears out faster.
